Objectives:

  1. Estimating the proportion devoted to ASL-adjusted capitation factors need / opportunities within the Region of Tuscany.

  2. Analysis of the possible implications of applying that methodology for allocation of resources at the interregional level, in the scenario of the federalism reform of the health system in Italy.

Activities: The project is divided into two parts which will proceed in parallel for the duration of the project:

  1. Identification of new criteria for funding the Health System of Tuscany

  2. Simulation of application of the funding identified to the regional health care system
